Hasselblad 500CM Medium Format Camera

The Hasselblad 500CM is an iconic medium format analogue film camera made in Sweden between 1970-89, famously used to photograph the Apollo moon landings. It uses Carl Zeiss lenses (hired separately) with built-in leaf shutters. The camera is renowned for its excellent optics, sturdiness and reliability, and it is one of the more compact medium format cameras around.

Specifications:

  • Interchangeable focusing screen and an optional prism viewfinder with a built-in light metre

  • Modular design with the leaf shutter design

  • A12 film back that produces 12 6×6 negative on 120 roll film

  • 45 degree finder, compatible with digital backs (not supplied) and ground glass focus screen

Please note that lenses are not included and must be hired separately (we have 50 mm, 80 mm and 150 mm available).
